About this event
Did you know that Colorado is home to a magnificent variety of insects and animals that pollinate, including more than 946 species of native bees? Join CSU Extension Native Bee Counter and CSU Master Gardener Grace Wright, as we venture into the world of local pollinators and their connection to our food system. Join us on April 5th from 4-6 p.m. to learn more about our incredible pollinators and how as a community member, you can take action towards preserving and promoting healthy habitats. Afterwards, you’ll have time to congregate with your comrades and pick up those important conversations where they left off, just like in our previous mixers!
Whether you’re part of a food justice organization, a long-time farmer, or simply like learning about all things local, this event is for you! We hope this gathering can be an informal way to connect/reconnect with our fellow food system organizations and build stronger connections to strengthen our local food system together.
As of February 1st, the Poudre Food Partnership is hosting a Community Conversations series at Stodgy Brewing Co. in Fort Collins, CO. This series is themed around food systems and regional happenings, challenges, and opportunities.
We look forward to seeing you!
Big shout out to the Stodgy crew for supporting local food systems and hosting this event series for the community!
If you would like to be a part of the conversation, but were unable to attend, please check out our Blog page for post-event follow-ups and discussions!
